Here is another issue of the rock magazine 'NME'. As you can see from the previous magazine i analysed the magazine editors have kept the colour scheme the same: Red, black, white and bits of yellow. This is so it is recognised by the buyers. Compared to the other magazine, this front cover is quite empty, It has one large kicker and main image. This is what our eyes are drawn to at first because of the rule of third. There is no strap lines which is unusual for magazines because they show the readers what the magazine contains which sells the magazine. But i think that this layout is very effective because it is a well known magazine brand, As you can see half on the mast head is covered this is because the title can be recognised without seeing all of it because it is a popular magazine that is familiar worldwide. The costume that has been chosen for lily Allen reflects the colour scheme of the magazine the red and black compliment each other which makes the magazine stand out.
